CIG officially observes seven holidays a year:

Veterans Day

Christmas Day

July 4

November 11

December 25

If any of the above fall on a Saturday, then Friday will be observed as a holiday. Similarly, if one falls on a Sunday, then Monday will be observed as a holiday.

The other three are set by a day of the week and month:

Memorial Day

Labor Day

Thanksgiving

First Monday in September

Last Thursday in November (and Friday)
